Since every piece of Gnomestead Pottery is a unique, hand-crafted work of art designed to bring charm right to your doorstep, all sales are final.

We strictly do not accept returns, offer exchanges, or provide refunds for any reason other than documented shipping damage (as covered below).

Please review all product dimensions, photographs, and descriptions carefully before completing your purchase.

Damage Guarantee: If the Treasure Arrives Broken

While we package every piece as if it were spun from glass, sometimes the journey is simply too rough. If a piece of pottery arrives damaged, we guarantee to replace it or issue a full refund.

Immediate Action Required:

  1. Do Not Discard Anything: You must keep all the original packaging (box, bubble wrap, and the broken item). The carrier requires this for a claim.

  2. Document the Damage: Take clear, well-lit photos of the broken item itself and the exterior of the shipping box.

  3. Contact Us Within 48 Hours: Email us immediately at info@gnomesteadpottery.com with your Order Number and the photos.

We will handle the shipping claim process and ensure you get a replacement or refund for the damaged item.

Shipping Rates

Our shipping rate covers the cost of sturdy packing materials (essential for fragile pottery!) and the journey itself.

We use a simple structure: a base flat rate of $10.00 for the entire order, plus a small $2.50 fee for each pottery piece packed.

Example: If you order 4 items, your total shipping cost would be: $10.00 (Base) + $10.00 (4 x $2.50) = $20.00

Processing Time:

The gnomes work hard! We generally require 3–5 business days to carefully package your order and ready it for its journey. You will receive a tracking number the moment your order departs.

Special Note on Firing:

Because all our pottery is handmade, if a purchased item is not currently in stock and ready to ship, it must go through the entire kiln process. If firing is required, this could add up to two weeks to the processing time before your order can be shipped. We will notify you immediately if your piece needs an extra trip through the kiln!
